Awurama Badu’s funeral slated for February 17

The funeral will take place at the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi.
This was announced at the 1 week celebration of the ‘Obaatan Refre Ne Mma’ singer at Banko in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region.
The family of Awurama Badu has also appealed to the government to give the deceased a state burial, explaining that she has contributed a lot to the Ghanaian music industry.
Awurama Badu passed away at the Effiduase Government Hospital in the Ashanti Region on Thursday, 26th October, 2017.
Awurama released songs such as ‘Komkom,’ ‘Emelia,’ ‘Me Dofo Adadaa Me,’ and ‘Obaatan Refre Ne Mma.’ Comments:
